Craft rooms are notorious for getting out of control. Decluttering, containing, and labeling are the name of the game when it comes to large quantities of supplies.
This project involved moving a sewing and quilting room into a new home. Moving into a new space can be daunting! Trying to recreate what you’ve had in another space that has different dimensions and constraints can feel overwhelming. But we took it one step at a time and made all the pieces of this playful sewing room work in perfect color coordinated harmony.

We started by getting all the large furntiture items where we wanted them.

Once we had all the large items in place, it was time to work on the smaller details.

We incorporated creative organization solutions like peg boards and also made sure to incorporate lots of art!

Craft rooms usually lend themselves to lots of ROYGBIV organization!

Cubbies are a craft room go-to.

Clear bins and labels are key!

It's ok to mix and match bins to work with what you have!

Labels on charging cords are very helpful when you have a lot of them floating around.

Peg boards make great organization structures for a lot of different rooms.
